Dwarf Mexican Crayfish (Cambarellus patzcuarensis)
- Ideal for adding a pop of color and activity to any freshwater aquascape
- Known for their playful and curious behavior, as well as their hardiness and ease of care
- Can be kept in a variety of environments, including planted aquariums and nano tanks
Care Requirements:
- Requires a well-filtered tank with stable water parameters
- Temperatures between 72-82°F (22-28°C) are ideal
- Can be fed a variety of protein-rich foods, including shrimp pellets, frozen or live foods
- Recommended tank size of 10 gallons or larger, with hiding places and ample swimming space
Compatibility:
- Peaceful and compatible with most community fish and shrimp, but may eat smaller tank mates
- May be aggressive towards other crayfish or invertebrates
- Best kept in a single species tank or with larger, more passive tank mates.
