Mermaid Weed is an easy to grow stem plant that is typically light green with reddish tops. When grown beneath water, the leaves will start to appear serrated and spiky in shape, and bright light will turn the tops of this plant red. When grown emerged, those leaves are more round and stay green. This plant can be used in ponds, aquariums, or wabi kusa. CO2 injection is recommended in order for this plant to thrive.
