Iron, a micronutrient, is essential for plants as it serves several critical functions. It is a key component in the formation of crucial plant molecules, such as chlorophyll and enzymes. Chlorophyll is the green pigment responsible for photosynthesis, the process by which plants convert sunlight into energy. Iron is vital for the synthesis of chlorophyll.

Photosynthesis is the lifeblood of plants. Without adequate iron, chlorophyll production is hindered, leading to poor photosynthesis, reduced energy, and stunted growth. When plants lack sufficient iron, they exhibit a symptom called chlorosis in which less chlorophyll is produced in new leaves. This will make newer leaves appear yellowish or whitish.

Aquavitro Propel does not only supply aquatic plants with iron but it supplies it in a time-release ready to absorb FE2+ form. If FE3+ is supplied, plants are required to expend precious energy to convert FE3+ to FE2+ before being able to utilize it. Furthermore, Aquavitro Propel also contains a reducing agent where it will convert any FE3+ in your aquarium that might have come from other sources such as substrate to FE2+.
Aquavitro Propel is highly concentrated. A mere 5 ml is needed for 200L of aquarium water.
