This variety of Cryptocoryne wendtii is only found in the river Mi Oya in Sri Lanka. Like other Cryptocoryne plants, it can grow well in very warm water, hard water, and in low light. Cryptocoryne wendtii is a heavy root feeder, so be sure to provide it with a high quality soil and/or fertilization with root tabs.
