Lilaeopsis brasiliensis from South America can grow very compact, and is one of the few low tek carpets that can have a "lawn effect," even with medium powered lighting.
When planting in the aquarium, small clumps should be placed 3/4 to 1 inch apart to help the plants grow together more quickly. Place in an open position without shading from other plants to ensure good light.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis can be used in garden ponds, and also tolerates low salt concentrations in brackish aquariums.
Grown in our own greenhouse, these plants are beyond healthy, with solid root structures, and guaranteed pest/algae free!
